1878-S Morgan Dollar
One of a small batch of Morgan Dollars recently acquired that reportedly sat undisturbed in a Whitman album for over 50 years! This 1878-S Morgan Dollar is naturally toned in shades of aqua, magenta and russet. Although subdued there is still some nice luster remaining. We grade this Morgan as AU53 to AU55. Note there are tiny rim dings observed on the reverse at about 12:15 and at about 9:45.
